Imagination is the key in this hand-building clay class. Join instructor Lois Crisp Stover as she teaches how to be successful building bird houses, totems, rain-sticks, bird feeders, animals, and much more. Students will come away with a working knowledge of clay and art work they can be proud of. Registration includes all materials.

This beauty glides, gracefully over the ice, crusted earth. The sheer layers of crystal and blue frost in her skirt, reflects the frozen light.

Join nationally renowned artist Deb Wood and create this fiery redhead. The Ice Queen  ”Isolde” stands 10″ tall (overall height including base and headpiece is 12″) and is created from polymer clay.

Covered in this workshop, sculpting her face, arms, hands and upper body. Isolde’s lower body creates the foundation for her costuming and will be provided to you at the start of the workshop.

You will also learn about several new products and unique techniques, will be introduced as used in costuming, as well as ways to adapt some products you might already be familiar with and have on hand. Also, including in the instruction will be wigging, costuming techniques, making wings, accessorizing, and embellishments.

About the instructor: Deb Wood has been teaching seminars in polymer clay for more than 25 years now, traveling across the country to share her techniques. She has been featured on TV, in newspaper articles, magazines and even on the Home Shopping Network! You may view her work on her website or her blogs. She offers sculpting classes to students all around the world through her art group, International Art Doll Registry and also at A for Artistic. Deb’s workshops are fun, organized, informative, and productive! You will be amazed at what you will accomplish, under her attentive guidance!

Most of the supplies are included with your fee. A list for additional supplies and suggestions for tools and other things you might find helpful, will be sent along later.
